IT Security

Keeping the organizational network safe from threats and violations is the main concern of every IT department.
Vanadium has several solutions in assisting organizations reaching a high level of safety and protecting their network from any hazard.

Virtual Hacker - the Virtual Hacker is a patented technology developed by Vanadium.  It scans all the components that are on the organizational network. The Virtual Hacker analyzes and configuration of each component and presents the detailed path of reaching each component on the network. This can assist the organization in blocking in advance any possible way to penetrate the network and access the components.

Black List – the Black List contains all the components that the organization sees them as threats to the network and therefore cannot be on the network. The Black List is defined in the Vanadium. Following a network scan, the Vanadium is able to detect and warn the organization in case it discovers components that are part of the Black List on the organizational network.

White List – the White List contains all the components that the organization does not see as a threat and therefore can exist on the network. The White List is defined in the Vanadium platform. Following a network scan, Vanadium is able to detect and warn the organization of components that appear on the network however do not appear on the White List. This could mean they are a threat to the organizational network.

Flow Policy – the information flow procedures policy is defined based on the correlation between the groups on the network. Following a clear characterization of each group and the level of security, the flow policy specifies which information flow the group can perform, according to which protocols, and other information groups it has access etc.

Missing Critical and Non-Critical Patches – in some organizations, the defined policy is to have all the critical patches installed on all computers. Vanadium comes with ready installed patches and additional relevant data. Following a scan of the organizational network, Vanadium can specify per type (operating systems) which critical patches are installed and whether there are any missing. Vanadium’s update of the different critical patches is done through update files or via the internet. While scanning, Vanadium has the ability to search and discover through the web what updated critical patches exist for each type of operating system on the network, and notify whether they are installed on the network or not.
